Comilla: Policed on Monday arrested a young man for his suspected link to a recent attack on a bus of Comilla University, reports local news agency.

The arrested is Prasanta Saha, believed to be in his 25, a resident of Deshwali Potti area.

The Kotwali police officer-in-charge Abdur Rob said early on Sunday a group of miscreants attacked a university bus in Jhautola area of Comilla town which left 25 students injured.

Later students of the university on Monday blocked Dhaka-Chittagong Highway demanding punishment of those involved in the attack.

The students withdrew their blockade when additional superintendent of police Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan assured them of taking action within 24 hours.
