Rajshahi: An assistant presiding officer of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) polls died of heart attack while counting votes at Chhoto Bongram Government Primary School centre in the city on Monday.

The deceased is Khalequzzaman, 55, deputy assistant agriculture officer of Poba upazila, reports the UNB.

Presiding officer of the centre Aminul Islam said Khalequzzaman had a heart attack in the evening and died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
