Gazipur: Road Transport and Bridges minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday said after facing downfall in movements and elections Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is now accusing government for their failure.

He said the main problem of the party is they face defeat even before the election.

The minister made the remark during the inauguration of foot over bridge in front of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Gazipur on Thursday morning.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University vice-chancellor professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman, Road Transport and Highways Division supervising engineer Shobuj Uddin Khan, Gazipur City Corporation acting mayor Asadur Rahman Kiron, Gazipur deputy commissioner SM Alam, metropolitan Awami League general secretary Jahangir Alam were also present during the inauguration of the foot over bridge.
