Gaibandha: District Motor Workers’ Union has enforced an indefinite bus strike from Sunday morning protesting the draft Road Transport Bill, causing immense sufferings to the passengers.

President of the union’s district unit Abdur Rashid Sarkar called the indefinite saying that they will continue the strike until the Bill is amended.

No long route buses left the district town since morning, creating immense sufferings to the commuters.

Many passengers were seen standing on the bus stand around 01:35 pm.
