Dhaka: In a major reshuffle in the judiciary, some 274 judicial officials have been transferred and given new postings.

The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a notification on Monday in this regard.

It said the Bangladesh Judicial Service officials have been transferred in consultation with the Supreme Court.

Those transferred and given new postings include assistant judges, senior assistant judges, judicial magistrates, senior judicial magistrates and metropolitan magistrates.
