BNP to lose existence if it skips next election: Muhith
Dhaka: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said on Monday that BNP will lose its existence as a political party if it does not participating in the next general elections.
After attending a meeting with government officials of the district at Deputy Commissioner’s office the minister came up with the remarks.
For free and fair election no system can be more appropriate than existing one, he added.
About the uninterrupted electricity supply, Muhith said that ‘The government is working relentlessly to provide uninterrupted electricity supply in Sylhet and now power is being supplied in Sylhet according to its requirement.’
‘So the concerned government officials should submit resignation if any customer lodge any complain about electricity supply’, he added.
Local lawmaker, senior officials of the district administration and police administration were also present there.
