Dhaka: Jukta Front, led by AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, wants to hold a public rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on October 20 to press for its various demands, including holding a credible national election under a non-party administration.

‘We’ve sought permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Public Works department toda6y (Thursday) to hold the rally on October 20,’ Jukta Front leader and Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna said, reports the UNB.

Earlier on Tuesday night, the senior leaders of the platform took the decision to hold the rally.
