Jhenaidah: Members of Rapid Action Battalion conducted a drive at a suspected militant den and arrested a young man at Kalihati village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

Suspecting presence of militants, a team of RAB-6 cordoned off the house of Sharafat Ali around 5 am, said Masud Alam, commanding officer of RAB-6, reports the UNB.

Later, the elite force members conducted a drive at the house and arrested Aktaruzzaman Sagar, 17, son of Sharafat, for his suspected link to militancy.

They also recovered some jihadi books and a gun from his possession.
