2 hundi traders held with Tk14.5 lakh
Joypurhat: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members detained two hundi traders, who send money through unofficial channel, in possession of Tk14.5 lakh from Chechnra border area in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat on Tuesday afternoon, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Sudarshan Kundu, resident of Purbabazar, and Abul Hossain, a resident of Shantinagar in Joypurhat district town.
Joypurhat Border Guard battalion 3 commanding officer Abdul Khabir Sardar said on secrete information, a team of BGB conducted a drive there and arrested Sudarshan and Nityananda and found Tk14.5 lakh after searching their bodies.
BGB members also seized two motorcycles from their possession.
