Dhaka-M’singh train services restored after 5 hrs

Gazipur: Train services on Dhaka-Mymensingh route resumed on Friday morning after five hours of suspension following derailment a train compartment in Sreepur upazila.
SaidurRahman, station master of Sreepur rail station, said a compartment of a Mohanganj-bound ‘Hawra Express’ train from Dhaka veered off the tracks around 2:30 am, halting train services on Dhaka-Mymeningh route, reports the UNB.
Two trains, including Jamalpur commuter train, got stranded due to the derailment.
However, the train communications were restored around 7:45 am as a relief train from Dhaka went to the spot and put the compartment back on the route.
