Noakhali: BNP leaders have been expressing frustration realising their certain defeat in Sunday’s election, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said on Saturday.

‘An atmosphere for conducting a free and fair election is prevailing,’ he told a press briefing in Noakhali, reports the UNB.

Quader said he was confident about AL’s victory. ‘The AL-led alliance will form the government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina,’ he said.

Noakhali-4 grand alliance candidate and AL’s district unit General Secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury and other local leaders were present at the briefing.
