Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Thursday invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to form the new government after her party’s massive victory in the 11th national election.

The President extended the invitation after Sheikh Hasina met him at Bangabhaban, reports the UNB. 

Sheikh Hasina arrived at the President’s House at 4:20 pm to meet him.

This is the very first meeting of the Prime Minister with the President after Awami League’s absolute victory in the national election held on December 30.
