Dhaka: President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Thursday greeted the Grand Alliance top leader and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for a ‘record grand victory’ in the 11th national election.

He congratulated the Prime Minister at a joint meeting of BDB at his Baridhara residence, reports the UNB.

Besides, the BDB chief greeted his party’s newly-elected MPs and party secretary general Abdul Mannan and presidium member Mahi B Chowdhury.

‘The Grand Alliance candidates got a huge victory in the parliamentary elections under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, and all credit goes to her. She also created a record of achieving a grand victory for a straight third time,’ B Chowdhury said.

He said their party hopes that Bangladesh will stand in the line of advanced countries in the world with a surprising trend of development under Sheikh Hasina.

B Chowdhury, also a former president, said Sheikh Hasina’s kept making contributions towards ensuring good governance and people’s rights alongside development and these will make her ever memorable. ‘Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh will remain beside Sheikh Hasina to achieve this goal.’

He called upon BDB leaders and activists to take all-out preparations to take part in the upcoming upazila elections.
