Dhaka: Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will hold a grand rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on January 19 to celebrate the massive victory of the party in the 11th parliamentary election.

AL President Sheikh Hasina will be present at the programme as the chief guest, according to a press release of Awami League.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader called upon their activists and supporters to work for making the rally successful, reports the UNB.

The press release also said that the rally will be held around 2:30pm on the day.

Obaidul Quader will also hold a meeting with the general secretaries of the party’s different front and associate bodies at AL’s Bangabandhu Avenue central office around 11:00am on Saturday.
