Khulna: Police recovered the hanging bodies of two people from a house in Sonadanga Bus Terminal area on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Md Akhter Hossain, 45, son of Shamsuddin, hailing from Kaliganj upazila in Jhenidah district and Mehedi Hasan, 17, son of Humayun Kabir, resident of Hasnabad area of Khulna city, reports the UNB.

S M Sakiluzzaman, additional deputy commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan police, said that a mason Akhter and a labour Mehedi of a factory used to live in house on rent.

Locals spotted their bodies inside their room around 10:00pm and informed police.

Later, police recovered the bodies around 11 pm and sent those to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Police primarily suspected that miscreants hanged their bodies after killing them.
