Dhaka: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has said the answer papers of the identified examinees given wrong question paper on the first day of the ongoing SSC and equivalent examinations would be evaluated in a different way so that no one of them is affected due to the mistake, reports the UNB.

Those who are regular examinees but got the question paper prepared for irregular ones have already been identified, she told Parliament on Sunday during a question-answer session.

Based on the probe body report, the Education Minister said, appropriate steps will be taken against those who are responsible for distributing the wrong question paper.

‘They’ve already been relieved from their duty and a probe body has been formed,’ she said adding that they are ready to consider any better suggestion as remedy to such an incident.

Dipu Moni said they have taken the best available remedy for addressing such incidents.

Earlier, the Education Minister said the allegation over the wrong distribution of question papers on the first day of the ongoing SSC and equivalent examinations is being scrutinised.

The minister came up with the remarks while visiting an examination centre at Bakshibazar Alia Madrasa in the city.

‘Strict surveillance has been ensured to stop question paper leaks, and it’ll continue until the examinations are over,’ she said adding, ‘Social media platforms are also under close observation to this end.’

This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on Saturday with the Bangla first paper starting at 10 am.
