Rajbari: A Class-V girl has allegedly been gang-raped by two young men at Charshibrampur village in Sadar upazila.

Police arrested one of the ‘rapists’, Milion Mollah, 28, a resident of the village, on Saturday night over the incident that took place on Friday morning, reports the UNB. 

Locals said the girl went to a nearby field to collect grass for cattle where Milon and Rezaul took her to a maize field and violated her in turns. 

The victim narrated the incident to her mother after returning home. As she fell sick, the minor girl was taken to Rajbari Sadar Hospital on Saturday afternoon, they added. 

The victim’s father filed a case with Sadar Police Station against Milion and Rezaul on Saturday night, said Md Abdullah, officer-in-charge of the police station. 

Police launched a drive to arrest Rezaul, he said.
