Satkhira: An unidentified young man was found dead in a canal of Panchpota area in Ashashuni upazila on Monday night.

MD Asaduzzaman Munshi, officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station, said locals found the body of the unidentified young men, aged around 20, while they went to the canal for catching frogs at night.

Later they informed police.

On information, police recovered the body.

The body bore several injury marks of knife, added the OC.
