'Employees snap power line of Khaleda's office'
Shipping minister Shajahan Khan on Saturday said affected labours and employees cut off power, telephone, gas and internet lines of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office in the capital.
"The government did not snap utility lines of Gulshan office of the BNP chairperson," he told journalists after inauguration of a road after the name of Artist Kazi Anwar Hossain in Madaripur.
"Affected labours and employees of power division, water development board, telephone and telegraph board and gas sector disconnected utility services of her office as she (Khaleda Zia) did not pay heed to their request to withdraw blockade and hartal at the time of the SSC examinations," he said.
The minister also threatened to stop food supply to Khaleda Zia’s office.
