Dhaka: A case was filed in connection with the deadly fire at Chawkbazar in Old Dhaka that left 67 people dead.

Additional deputy commissioner Md Kamal Hossain said the case was filed with Chawkbazar police station against unidentified people on Thursday night, reports the UNB.

At least 67 people were killed and around 41 others injured in a devastating fire that broke out at a chemical warehouse and raged through four other adjacent buildings in the city’s Chawkbazar area on Wednesday night.

Duty officer at the Fire Service Central Control Room Rasel Shikder told UNB around 9 pm on Thursday that the firefighters recovered 67 bodies from the spot.
