Stranded Biman passengers leave for Dubai

Chattogram: Passengers of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane which made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport following a ‘hijack bid’, left for Dubai in the afternoon.
Shah Amanat International Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar-e-Zaman said the passengers of BG-147 flight left on a flight around 1:30pm on Monday, reports the UNB.
On Sunday, members of joint forces shot dead a man who allegedly tried to hijack the plane.
Activities at the airport resumed several hours after the incident. Security has been beefed up.
