BCL activist stabbed dead in Gazipur
Gazipur: An activist of Bangladseh Chhatra League (BCL) was stabbed to death by rivals in Boran Munshi Para road area in Tongi on Friday night over a cricket match.
The deceased was identified as Prince Mahmud Nahid, 26, son of Jahirul Islam, a resident of Datta Para area, reports the UNB.
Shuvo Mandal, sub-inspector of Tongi East Thana, said that some rival men attacked Nahid around 8:30pm and stabbed him indiscriminately following enmity over a cricket match, leaving him critically injured.
Later, the injured died on the way to Dhaka.
On information, police recovered the body.
