Minister Quader being taken to Singapore
Dhaka: Ailing minister Obaidul Quader, who was undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) with three blockages in coronary arteries, is being taken to Singapore for better treatment following the advice of renowned Indian cardiologist Devi Shetty.
An ambulance carrying Quader left for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here from the hospital at 3: 20 pm.
Family and medical board members are accompanying Quader, reports the UNB.
Earlier, BSMMU VC Kanak Kanti Barua told reporters that he would be taken to Singapore for better treatment.
