Gazipur: A case was filed with Kaliakoir police station in connection with snatching Tk 1.84 crore from an ATM booth of Dutch-Bangla Bank in Kaliakoir upazila, reports UNB.

Gazipur Police Super Mohammad Harun Or Rashid said Afzalul Abedin, an official of ‘Money Plant’ company which reloads the ATM booths of DBBL with money, filed the case with the police station on Thursday evening.

Miscreants snatched two trunks loaded with Tk 1.84 crore from the ATM booth of Dutch-Bangla Bank adjacent in Shafipur area of Kaliakoir upazila on early Thursday when some employees of ‘Money Plant’ company were unloading trunks from their microbus for reloading the booth with cash.

Meanwhile, the looted trunks were found empty in Phulbaria upazila of Mymensingh on Thursday evening.
