Dhaka: Jatiya Oikyafront Convener and Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain flew to South Korea early Tuesday to join a seminar.

Gono Forum general secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu said Dr Kamal Hossain left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Seoul around 1pm, reports the UNB.

He said their party president is scheduled to join a seminar on legal issues in Seoul.

Montu said Dr Kamal is expected to return home on March 16.

Hours before his departure, Dr Kamal had a long meeting with the Jatiya Oikyafront steering committee members on Monday at his Motijheel chamber where they decided to strengthen their efforts to unite the country’s people by holding rallies in divisional cities and district towns.
