Thakurgaon: A housewife was killed as her husband allegedly beat her up severely over a family feud at Padampur Umaradangi village in Ranisankail upazila of Thakurgaon on Friday morning, reports UNB.

Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Ranisankail police station, said Shohagi, 30, died after her husband Kashimuddin beat her up indiscriminately with the handle of a tube-well.

Kashimuddin has remained in hiding since the incident.

Police recovered the body and sent it to morgue for an autopsy.
