3 JMB suspects detained

Rajshahi: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three alleged members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in possession of 16 crude bombs, seven grenades and propaganda booklets from Sheguna area in Baghmara upazila in Rajshahi early on Sunday, reports local news agency.
RAB 5 official assistant superintendent of police Alok Biswas said tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Anisur Rahman, resident of Wapda Colony in Fenchuganj upazila of Sylhet, Abu Sayeed Manik, of Fulpur upazila in Mymensingh and Shahen Shah, from Maijdi area in Sadar upazila of Noakhali district, when they were staying three at about 5:00am.
RAB members also recovered 16 crude bombs, seven grenades and some propaganda leaflets from their possession.
