23 kg gold recovered from Chattogram airport

Chattogram: Customs intelligence officials recovered 200 gold bars weighing 23kg from an aircraft at Shah Amanat International Airport here early Monday.
Dr. Shahidul Islam, director general of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate, said cleaners spotted the gold bars while cleaning the toilet of an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, reports the UNB.
Later, a team of CIID recovered the gold bars worth Tk 10 crore around 10:30am.
