Feni: After being shocked over the death of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi, his younger brother Rashedul Hasan Raihan, was admitted to a hospital in Feni on Friday night.

Raihan, a class X student of Sonagazi Senior Fazil Madrasa, lost his conscious several times before the burial of his sister on Thursday, according to family members, reports the UNB.

Besides, he was repeatedly denying taking food due to his failure to bear the pain of his sister’s death, they said.

On 6 April, Nusrat was set afire at an examination centre allegedly by people loyal to the principal of her madrasa after he was arrested and subsequently suspended as she had accused him of sexually harassing her.

Nusrat Jahan lost her battle for life on Wednesday night at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
