Natore: A teacher of BIAM Laboratory School in Singra upazila here was suspended on Thursday evening on charges of sexually harassing several female students of the school.

The accused Fazlul Rahman is a mathematics teacher of the school, reports the UNB.

Singra Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sushanta Kumar Mahato said a total 13 students and 11 parents submitted written complaints against the teacher on April 11 for sexually harassing them.

Later, a three-member probe committee, formed by the upazila administration, found involvement of the teacher, he said.

Based on the probe report, the school management committee has decided to suspend the teacher.
