Moudud falls sick, hospitalised
Dhaka: BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed was admitted to a city hospital as he fell sick at the High Court on Sunday.
‘Moudud Ahmed was taken to Apollo Hospitals after he complained of chest pain at the High Court,’ said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan, reports the UNB.
He said the BNP leader, now 78, has been kept at Apollo’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of cardiologist Dr Shahabuddin Talukder.
Moudud’s personal secretary Mominur Rahman Sujan said, ‘Sir (Moudud) has been suffering from chest pain and respiratory problem since Saturday night. His condition deteriorated when he went to the High Court today (Sunday).’
