Blazing heat to continue for 2-3 more days: Met Office
Dhaka: There is no possibility of immediate relief from the sweltering summer heat as it may continue for two or three more days, said the Met Office.
Abdur Rahman Khan, a meteorologist at Bangladesh Meteorology Department, said a heat-wave is sweeping over the country and it may continue for two to three more days.
He, however, said light rains are likely to occur on Sunday or Monday, reports the UNB.
The country’s highest temperature of 38.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Rajshahi while it was 35.2 degrees in the capital city, Abdur Rahman added.
Now, people prefer staying indoors to avoid the sultry weather while the day-labourers and rickshaw-pullers are facing great difficulties in doing their works amid the scorching heat.
