Heat wave likely to continue
Dhaka: A mild to moderate heat wave sweeping over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions may continue, the Met Office says in its regular weather forecast.
The heat wave is also affecting the regions of Noakhali and Dinajpur.
In its 24-hour forecast until 6pm Saturday, the Met Office said that rain and thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur in parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
The temperature may also fall.
The sun sets in the capital on Saturday at 6:32pm and rises on Sunday at 5:17am.
Country’s highest temperature 39.5 degree Celsius was recorded on Friday in Rajshahi and lowest 23.3 degree in Tetulia.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
