Exhibition to raise awareness on climate change at NDUB
To raise public awareness on environment and climate change and to engage youth in environmental protection and development activities, Notre Dame University Bangladesh English Club (NDUBEC) is organizing a day-long creative exhibition and award ceremony entitled ‘Nizoder Anti-dandruff Shampoo presents NDUB Environment Vanguard Award 2019’.
The event will be held on Friday (15 November 2019) at 10 AM to 7PM at Notre Dame University Bangladesh, said a press release.
In this inter college-university competition, participants will compete in three categories: Photo-Story, Visual Poetry, and Short Film. Celebrated media personalities will grace the occasion. Prominent photographer Hasan Chandan will be present as a jury for Photo Story category.
Biswajit Goswami, faculty of the Department of Fine Arts, will be present as the jury for Visual Poetry category. Fatema Amin, faculty of the Department of Film and Television, Jagannath University will be the jury for short-film category.
Photo Story winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd all together) will receive USD 3000 Dollars (2.5 lac taka) as a team to complete UNDP photo story project in the coastal belt of Bangladesh, and a crest.
Short Film Champion team will receive USD 3000 Dollars (2.5 lac taka) to complete UNDP short-film project in the coastal belt of Bangladesh, and a crest. On the other hand, Short Film Runners-up team will receive BDT 20,000 cash prize money, a crest and will get the opportunity to work with Avant-garde Productions. Visual Poetry Champion team will receive BDT 10,000, a crest and will get the opportunity to work with Ars Poetica.
Moreover, crests will be given for the shortlisted top 3 in all categories, and certificates will be awarded for the shortlisted top 10. In any category, one can participate individually or as a team (maximum 5 members in one team).
