ACC gives clean chit to Railways Minister’s PS
Dhaka: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has cleared the personal secretary of railways minister Mazibul Hoque of a graft charge.
The Commission gave the clean chit to minister’s PS AKMG Kibria Mazumdar through an official notification issued by ACC secretary Abu M Mustafa Kamal recently.
The ACC had received a corruption allegation in earlier 2015 that Kibria Mazumdar appointed 1441 lower grade staff of Bangladesh Railway violating recruitment procedure for his personal grain.
Later, the national anti-graft body initiated a probe against him but it did not find his involvement in any irregularly of the recruitment process after investigation.
