Allegation of fake voting in Dumuria

Khulna:  A few allegations of fake vote casting before the polling booths were officially opened by the supporters of ruling Awami League were reported at Sadar union of Dumuria Upazila in Khulna.

BNP back chairman aspirant Molla Mofizur Rahman alleged a polling official in Mazidia Alia Madrasa polling centre was found casting fake votes for boat symbol before the voting was opened.

Two outsiders were also seen assisting him to cast fake votes, said the candidate.

BNP-back aspirant Molla Mofizur Rahman, Awami League blessed candidate SM Humayun Kabir Bulu, Islami Shashantantra Andolan backed candidate Mufti Azizul Islam, and two independent candidates, Abdus Salam, and Rejaur Rahman are participating in the union council election of Sadar union of Dumuria upazila.
