Sitakunda: An International Islamic University student was killed after he was hit by trains at Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on Friday morning.
The deceased is Sajedul Islam, 25, a student of Economics and Banking department of International Islamic University.

The witnesses said Sajedul trapped between two trains as he was crossing the railway track at Kumira area at about 8:45am. The trains hit Sajedul and he was taken to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital in critically injured condition at about 10:00am.

CMCH police post sub-inspector Pankaj Barua said the duty doctors declared Sajedul dead after he was taken to the hospital.
