Sherpur: A BNP chairman candidate boycotted the election in Urfa union council in Nakla upazila of Sherpur over various irregularities.

The chairman aspirant Rustom Ali announced the election boycott at about 11:30am, reports UNB.

The candidate pulled out of the race accusing the men of the ruling party of capturing Baromaisa Government Primary School polling centre, obstructing his supporters in casting votes, forcing his agents out of the centre and also casting fake votes.
