Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam said discussion is only possible with Bangladesh Nationalist Party if they stop violence in the name of blockade-hartal.

The AL general secretary came up with the opinion at a press briefing at the party president’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka on Saturday.

Ashraful Islam said it’s not possible to have discussion with killers.

He claimed, ‘The 20-Party Alliance wants to achieve their demands holding common people hostage. Their movement is not for election, caretaker government or democracy.’
