Comilla: Police recovered the body of a minor boy from a septic tank at Shakpur village in Borura upazila on Saturday afternoon three days after his going missing,

The deceased is Ibrahim Hossain, son of Abul Kashem, a resident of the village.

Quoting family sources, Aslam Shikder, officer-in-charge of Borura Police Station, said Ibrahim had gone missing on 20 March.

Victim’s father filed a general diary with the police station in this connection on 1 April.

Later locals spotted the boy’s body in a septic tank adjacent to his house on Saturday afternoon and informed police.

Police recovered the body from the septic tank.
