Bangladeshi shot dead in Kimberley

Sylhet: A Bangladeshi was shot to death by miscreants in Kimberley, capital of Northern Cape Province in South Africa on Saturday night.
The deceased is Khairul Alam, believed to be around 38 years, from Dhampal village of Gopalganj upazila in Sylhet.
The victim’s elder brother Sohel Ahmed said a gang of miscreants reportedly attacked his business establishment at Delpot village of Kimberly at about 10:30am local time and opened fire at his chest and head, leaving him dead on the spot.
Khairul had been living in South Africa over the last five years.
