Naogaon: Police arrested an alleged associate of Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai, executed second-in-command of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), from Barochhara village in Raninagar upazila on Tuesday night.

The Raninagar police officer-in-charge Abdul Latif said tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Babu alias Muska, at about 10:00pm.

The arrestee is accused in a murder case, the OC added.
