Nazimuddin laid to rest

Beanibazar: Jagannath University student and online activist Nazimuddin Samad, who was killed by some unidentified assailants in Dhaka on Wednesday night, was buried at his family graveyard at Tukabharaut village in Beanibazar upazila of Sylhet on Friday morning.
The burial took place at about 11:00am after a namaz-e-janaza at the village, said Sumon Ahmed, nephew of Nazim.
Earlier, the body was brought here from the capital at about 6:00am, reports UNB.
Nazimuddin Samad, 26, an LLM student of Jagnnnath University, was also the information and research secretary of Sylhet unit of Bangabandhu Jatiya Juba Parishad and an activist of Sylhet Ganajagaran Manch.
A group of assailants swooped on Samad at Ikrampur of Sutrapur in the capital on Wednesday night, and hacked and shot him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.
