Dhaka: Four secretaries of the civil administration have been promoted to senior secretaries.

The Public Adminstration Ministry on Monday issued a communiqué elevating their posts as senior secretaries.

The secretaries are—National Parliament Secretariat secretary Dr Md. Abdur Rob Howlader, Water Resources Ministry secretary Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan, Industries Ministry secretary Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan; and Internal Resources Division secretary and National Board of Revenue chairman Nojibur Rahman.

The senior secretaries will resume their offices where they were working before their promotion.

The basic salaries of the senior secretaries will be elevated to Tk 82,000 from Tk 78,000 for the promotion.
