Bangladeshi hurt in BSF firing in Kurigram border
Kurigram: A Bangladeshi was injured as members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) allegedly fired gunshots at him at Goytapara frontier in Raomari upazila of Kurigram on Tuesday.
The injured is Angur, a resident of Charer village in Shoulmari union of the upazila.
Shoulmari union council member Shobed Ali said Angur received bullet injuries as the BSF men of Diwara camp opened fire while Anggur along with three others were moving around the borderline for poaching three shallow machines at about 7:00pm on Tuesday.
Later, the associates of Angur brought him into the Bangladeshi territory.
Confirming the incident, Habildar of Goytapara BGB camp Abdul Hai said on information the border force rushed to the spot.
