A young man died after drinking excessive liquor at Sheikhhati village in Jessore town on Friday night.

Jessore Kotwali Police Station officer-in-charge Elias Hossain said Anwar Hossain Anar, a resident of the village, fell sick while he was drinking alcohol, reports UNB.

Later he was taken to Jessore Medical Collage Hospital where he died.
