Dhaka: Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka and Chittagong divisions with hails at places and heavy rainfall is also expected at places over Sylhet division till 6:00pm on Sunday.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Jessore and Kushtia and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s highest temperature, 38.3 degree Celsius, was recorded on Saturday in Rajshahi and lowest, 19.5 degree, in Sylhet.
