Munshiganj: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday said one-third of the Padma Bridge work has been completed.

‘Piling works for nine sites have already been completed,’ he said while exchanging views with media at Padma Bridge project area.

Quader said the works in the rainy season would continue unhindered and much of the work is being done by Chinese contractor.

Project Director of the Padma Bridge Shafiqul Islam, concerned engineers and officials were present.
