Chuadange: Police recovered bullet-hit body of a college student, who had been picked up by a group of people impersonating plainclothes policemen from Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah district on 10 April, from Kharagoda village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.

The deceased is Sahanur Rahman Sahan,aged around 20year, a resident of Ishwarba village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.

Local people spotted the body with bullet injuries lying beside a paddy field at Kharagoda village and informed police at about 11:30am, said officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Saiful Islam.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital morgue for an autopsy.

A group of plainclothes police abducted Sahan form Jamtala bus stand in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah district on 10 April, claimed the victim’s family.
