The deceased is Manu Miah, publicity secretary of the Ababil union unit of the youth front of the ruling Awami League and son of Anar Ullah, a resident of Char Pangashia village of the same upazila.
He died undergoing treatment at the hospital, Juba League president of the same union Koisik Ahmed said.
Three people, including Manu were injured in a clash between two groups of Awami League activists at Haiderganj Bazar in Raipur upazila on Friday afternoon over establishing supremacy.
